Joyce
S. Crane, Artistic Director
| Artistic Director and founder of Crane Performing Arts School. Prior to opening CPAS, Joyce had an illustrious career in the Philadelphia dance community. As a teen she was the assistant choreographer for many projects in all genres of dance, including choreographing and coaching members of Dean Martin’s Golddiggers for television and live performances. As a teacher, her students have realized many of their goals with her encouragement and assistance: college dance scholarships, Governor’s School for the Arts and have become regional and national competition winners. Students have traveled with Joyce to perform twice in Europe, Disney’s Epcot Center, New York City, on the cruise ship “Britanis” in Mexico, and at the Sunset Beach Resort in Jamaica. Currently Crane alumnae are dancing and producing professional shows in NYC, Las Vegas, Reno, Biloxi and abroad. Joyce is most proud of the many scholarships and acceptances her students have received by audition to world renown dance programs. |

| Kara
Bason |
Kara began her dance training at the age of five in the Philadelphia area. She grew up studying ballet, jazz/contemporary, modern, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and salsa. Kara has danced for ASH Contemporary Dance and has performed in many events including Marian Anderson awards ceremonyhonoring Gregory Peck, Annenberg Theatre, City Center, Tangerine Bowl halftime show ESPN, Lincoln Center, Joyce Theatre, 6 ABC Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Sunoco Welcome America 4th of July Parade, Republican National Convention, and Penns Landing concert featuring BaHa men. Kara is signed with McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA), one of the top agencies located out of NYC and LA. |

| Braham
Logan Crane |
| Braham Logan Crane is an expert in the art of movement. He has a way of creating fresh, innovative work that encompasses intense emotion and pure passion. He puts it all together with his signature style, blending modern, jazz, hip hop and contemporary movement, leaving audiences on their feet.
In his work as a choreographer, Braham has set works on distinguished dancers from American Ballet Theater, Bolshoi Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet, as well as collaborating with recording artist and Broadway star, Angela Ai. Braham choreographed and performed at the Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary, along with the band The Killers. He has set original versions of Altar Boyz and Cats at the Roxy Regional Theatre in Tennessee. Recent commissions include works for Bad Boys of Dance, starring and directed by Rasta Thomas and Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. As a teaching professional, Braham has served on the faculty of many renowned dance schools and conventions including Virginia School of the Arts, Koresh Dance Center, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps on Broadway.
Included in Braham Logan Crane’s diverse concert and stage work is the critically acclaimed Philadelphia based dance company, ASH Contemporary Dance. Braham served as founder, artistic director, as well as choreographer for company pieces along with Mia Michaels. ASH Contemporary Dance has toured all throughout the east coast in addition to Canadian and European tours.
Braham Logan Crane has won prestigious awards and received unique honors for his work. Braham became the youngest choreographer to win the Gold Leo’s Award for excellence in jazz choreography at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Buffalo, NY. He was also honored by being one of three choreographers chosen to present his work at the Festival Des Arts De Saint-Sauveur International Choreography Competition in Quebec. | Makenzie
Crane |
| A third generation dancer, Makenzie is proud to keep the tradition of a family of dancers alive into the 21st century. Makenzie trained at her mother's dance studio in West Chester, PA as well as North Carolina School of the Arts, Interlochen Arts Center in Michigan, Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, River North Dance Chicago and Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where she was on a full scholarship. Makenzie has danced for Tap Team II, ASH Contemporary Dance, and has performed in several corporate events throughout the Philadelphia area. Performance credits include DRA's "Remember Project" and Broadway Dance Center's Performance Outlets in New York. While living in NYC, Makenzie served as a sound technician and lighting designer for numerous performances, taught in the children’s program at Broadway Dance Center, and judged dance competitions throughout the U.S. Currently, Makenzie is teaching at several studios in the tri-state area while pursuing her degree in Physical Education at West Chester University. |

Adrienne Della |
Adrienne started dancing at the age of three and continued her formal dance training with the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet and Koresh Dance Center located in Philadelphia. She has had the pleasure of dancing in numerous live shows and videos with the following artists: Will Smith, Pink, Destiny's Child, City High, Rob Base, Ludacris, Q-Tip and Chubby Checker. Adding to the list of professional credits, Adrienne performed with many dance companies and shows such as MTV Global Grove, MTV Rock N Jock, NBA Inside Stuff, KTU N.Y.C Jingle Ball, NBA Mexico City, and ESPN (Pro Dance). While working with ESPN, Adrienne was given the opportunity to work and perform with choreographer Brian Friedman. Her dance career has lead her to appear in print and modeling work, and has appeared in various commercials and magazines with Southwest Airlines, Polo, Curtain Call Costumes, Dance Spirit Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine, and Philadelphia's Health and Fitness Magazine. After recently ending her twelfth season as the captain and coach of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers, Adrienne continues to teach dance team style as co-founder of "Arena Dance Pros" and "Arena Dance Pros Kids".

| Tara Keating |
Tara Keating began her training at the age of seven at the Pioneer Valley Ballet in Northampton, Massachusetts. She then attended the Juilliard School, under the direction of Benjamin Harkarvy, from which she received a BFA in dance. While there, she was awarded the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship and the Most Outstanding Dance Major award from the National Dance Association. She began her professional career with the American Repertory Ballet and then joined Twyla Tharp’s company, “THARP!”, where she performed both internationally and at City Center in New York.
Ms. Keating joined the Pennsylvania Ballet in 1998, and was promoted to soloist in 2003. During her ten year career there, she danced leading roles in numerous classical and contemporary works such as Emilia in Jose Limon’s The Moor’s Pavane, Hippolyta, Hermia, and Helena in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, principal roles in Jerome Robbins’ Fancy Free and The Concert, Paul Taylor’s Company B and Arden Court, and in several premieres by Matthew Neenan. In addition, throughout her career she has originated roles in world premieres by such renowned choreographers as Val Caniparoli, Jorma Elo, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Trey mcintyre, Helen Pickett, Septime Webre, and Christopher Wheeldon.
In 2005, she became an original member of BalletX, and has danced in virtually every performance since their inception. Ms. Keating was the Producing Director in 2006 and 2007 for Shut Up and Dance, an annual benefit for MANNA, created by the Dancers of Pennsylvania Ballet. She was also the recipient of a 2002 City Paper Choice Award. She has taught master classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York, NADAA dance conventions throughout the country, and at various schools in the region. She recently performed with BalletX in Seoul, Korea at the Ballet Expo Seoul and in St. Louis at the Spring to Dance Festival. |
